Year 6 and 7 have recently finished their World Around us topic, 'Great Irish Famine'. They looked at what counties were most affected, workhouses, soup kitchens and what life was like for people during this time. They have also studied the novel; 'Under the Hawthorn Tree', alongside the topic.
