Primary 1 have had a busy month making pancakes and green jelly for St Patrick’s day. We loved dressing up for World Book Day activities. In numeracy we have covered lots of learning. We have measured and compared the height of toys using the unifix blocks, explored the language of capacity, used our numicon towers and the ladybird games to help our understanding of partitioning as well as exploring o'clock times. In literacy we have been working hard at our reading and key words and developing our understanding of rhyme. Thank you to the P.7 boys and girls who shared some rhyming stories with their P.1 friends today.
