On Tuesday 21st November 2017, P3 and P4 went to Tesco in Dungannon as part of the Farm to Fork project.
First, we got the bus which left us right at the door and we met a lady called Sharon. Then we took off our coats and put on our high visibility vests to keep us safe.
Our first activity was finding different fruit and vegetables in the store and where they were grown. We were surprised that so many came from Ireland. Then we went to the bakery and tasted different types of bread including Christmas bread.
We had some chutney as part of our snack. Our favourite was the caramelised onion.
We learned lots of things about Tesco and harvest foods. Happy Thanksgiving! From P3 and P4.
